Privacy Policy.

The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we don't run ad trackers, and we don't sell data. Details below.

What we collect

• GitHub profile when you sign in: username, numeric account id, avatar, and email address (via GitHub OAuth).
• Wallet addresses you connect for buying or receiving payouts. Addresses only — never private keys.
• Content you publish: skill listings, descriptions, images, ratings, and reviews — attributed to your GitHub profile by design.
• Purchase records: order snapshots and on-chain transaction references for skills you buy or sell.
• Aggregate analytics (Vercel Analytics): page views and performance, without cross-site tracking.

What we never do

• No advertising trackers, no third-party ad cookies, no fingerprinting.
• No selling or renting your data to anyone.
• No reading or storing wallet private keys — wallets stay self-custodial.

Cookies & local storage

• dsh_session — a signed cookie that keeps you logged in.
• Local storage holds interface preferences (like list/card view) and your purchase unlock tokens, on your device.

Where your data lives

Account and listing data is stored with Upstash (Redis) and Vercel (hosting, image storage). Paid skill bundles are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM). Embedded wallets are provided by Privy under your control.

On-chain data is public

Purchases settle in USDC on the Base blockchain. Wallet addresses, amounts, and transactions are public and permanent by the nature of blockchains — we cannot edit or delete on-chain records for you.

Your controls

• Edit, hide, or delete your listings any time in My Skills.
• Disconnect your wallet in My Skills — future sales simply pay whichever wallet is connected.
• For full account deletion, email us and we'll remove your profile and off-chain records.

Children

Design Skills Hub is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
